CZECHS DO HAVE A NAVY! -How can YOU join?
Some haters would say we don’t have access to sea to have a navy, but dang, they were right!!
But what you can do in protest to that, like every other common `Praguer`, is to discover our (sea-like) riverbank of Náplavka. Beach volleyball, live music, workshops, local/world cuisine and farmer’s market, ….
Perhaps you have discovered most of the old town but maybe you haven’t had a chance to explore the most liveable, day and night, part of the Prague yet.
Náplavka is strip of riverbank roughly starting at Manes Gallery and approximately ending with Výtoň tram stop. Originally not so exciting riverbank has in recent years transformed into the best hipster hangouts, where you can visit one of the docked restaurants and sample variety of beers & delights or try side-walk cafes nearby.
Even thought the official start of music productions and entertainment will kick off on May1st, riverbank is starting to get more and more alive with better weather. Peak always comes during warm nights of summer…
Foodies will be delighted to find out that Farmer’s markets have had officially started last weekend and will continue until Autumn. The better the weather the more shops and stalls will be present! Feel free to have a brunch of wide variety selection of vegan, vegetarian, Czech, Balkan, and other international foods, Naplavka will not disappoint. The culinary choices are dizzying!

The best way how to enjoy Naplavka is probably like Praguers do it. Grab a drink meet with friends and sit down at the Naplavka, feet dangling down over the river, watching busy city life pass by and unwind the after a busy day.
