Tip to remember!

If you get lost and don't know where you are find the closest lamp post! All lamp posts in Prague should have unique number-code visible in around 1m from the ground.

When calling any of the emergency departments and unsure of your whereabouts tell them the number of lamp post !!!

For lighter emergencies that do not require immediate profesional attention any of the Buddies are here to help you out. Your assigned Buddy should have contacted you prior to the arrival and given you his contacts.

Prague, as any other big city, is prone for pickpockets and small thefts therefore DO NOT leave your bags open, unattended, or left out of your sight! Most of the pickpocketers won't strike you as possible criminal minds but thats their advantage and your disadvantage.

Walk confidently.
Avoid carrying all your possessions in one bag.
Stick to well-lit roads.
Plan your journey before you leave.
Don’t walk with your headphones in.(?- be aware of your surroundings. That's all!)

Tips to stay safe when out

Do not leave your drink unattended.
Do not accept drinks from anyone you don't know.
Use a stoppers for bottles that only a straw can fit through to prevent anyone slipping anything in to your drink.If you think you have been the victim of drink spiking report it to the police as soon as you can.
Don't leave your friends alone, especially if they are drunk, and don't get separated from your friends as this makes you more vulnerable.
If you have been physically assaulted do not wash your clothes or have a shower before reporting it if you can....
